I have done a lot of suspensions in my time and I never used them before, but I tried every trick I know and couldn't get the spring and spacer in. The compressors should make it cake. I will post when I finish.

Switching jobs and just got a great deal on this one. I hope to replace it in a couple of years with a 4x... I really like the truck though.

I have both 3" lift spindles and 2.5" lift coils... I was told "If you have to raise the front of your truck go with anything BUT spacers" This was from a mechanic i've known for years and had done several lifts.

There are a few options depending on the money you wnat to spend but always remember the you pay for quality i went with the spindles for a gew reasons ... spindles give you the most bang for your buck the ride quality doesnt change and they r made to last, As for new coil springs you are looking at a ruffer ride from, what i have heard and the dreaded coipl spring spacer ( i have heard Horror stories) they are cheap easy to install , but i have had friends install them and had them pop out , i even had a friend the the material started to dry rot???? just what i have heard but my opinoin is the spindles is the safest and best way to go more money but once again you are getting what you pay for...

I DID NOT USE A SPRING COMPRESSOR ON MY INSTALL, OF COURSE I ONLY PUT IN 1.5 SPACERS. I WOULD NOT SAY IT WAS EASY... BUT I GOT THEM IN THERE.

After reading all the replies, I think I'll run the 2" spacers until I can go with 3" spindles. Thanks for all the help!

I just ordered the 2.5" spacers. hope to get them in this weekend. I also hope it doesn't screw up my front end.
