I finally found time to install my 2.5" Top Gun Customz leveling kit this weekend. Here are a couple pictures. It took us about 1.5 hours to do thedriver side and only about 30 mins to do the passenger side. (Doesn't it always work like that). Will take some better pics of the finished product later.

Thanks guys! The next install will be nerf bars. I like the ground clearance without them but my wife will need them to get in. I will also like to get the chron Westin Bull Bar, I think those look pretty sweet. As soon as these tires wear out I want to get the 315 or 325 Nitto Mudd Grapplers!

 

Are you going to go with the 35 or 33" Nitto Muds, they are both 12.5". Or very close to a 315 in metric. The 35's are going to look a lot taller than the 305/50's you got on now.

 

is there a leveling kit made for the 2004 1500 4x4? I can't seem to find one

 

Yup, they are LEVELING KEYS, your '04 has a torsion bar system as opposed to the coil over system on the '06+ trucks.

I did an extensive write up on the pluses & minuses of t-bar cranks, leveling keys, body lifts & suspension lifts about 5 or 6 months ago and it's been referenced every few weeks since. Do a search and read it. It should help you understand your torsion bar setup and all the options available to you to lift it...

about the mud grapplers, i had an extensive talk with hammer, and after that i decided on going with Mickey Thomopson ATZ's. i saw the ATZ's in person and look just as good as the mud grapplers with out the rough *** ride and terrible longevity.
