Ranting
since u bought urs used its was like mine....my 05 had a 3 year 36,000 warranty.....only the new ones have 7/70.....however you can buy a 7/70 for like 1500 they told me which i wish i would have done now....and a VA card is a Veterans Administration card.....shows you were in the military kind of like a get out of jail free or an excuse card.....like during new years when this drunk as*hol* was dragging the american flag down the street carrying it across his back....I worked him up good and the cops took him to jail for public drunkeness....
Okay,I went to my uncles last night to pickup one of their vehicles they dont hardly use, and while I was there, I was talking to him, he does NOT think its the cylinder heads, BECAUSE, Monday, the next day after the over heating incident, it never over heated again, I drove to Mckinney and back, which is a hour both ways. He thinks, if it was the cylinder heads, it would have continued to over heat, over and over again. He thinks its just a gasket. So, on monday, when we get back from the trip to the funeral, we are getting my truck towed to my uncles house and he is going to pull the heads and see if they are cracked and we will go from there.
I HOPE AND PRAY that they are not...pray with me guys!!

Just out of curiousity, have you drained your oil since all of this started? and if so what did it look like? Also have you changed the t-stat since it started over heating?
hell yeah, i'm ready for a roadtrip cobra lol.....sounds like it's a gasket tho since had to keep addin water to it, deffinitly change the oil and see how it looks before you pull the heads....i swear i'm like in another world or somethin, things keep comin to mind thats already been mentioned lol
Hum..Well, I cant do anything until my parents get back in town, they told me to leave it alone, and my uncle wants it at his house Monday, I trust him, I know that he will take any precaution and check all possibilities. I will mention the oil thing to him, since we noticed that one of the posts on the battery was completly coroded, we might as well check everything. Thanks again guys, for all of your advice.
