Window Tint Shop Dinged My Truck, What to Do?
Took truck in for tint. 2007 QC hemi
When I went to pick it up there were bubbles in tint, so I made them redo it.
Then when I got home I noticed someone had opened the drivers side rear door hard into something. There is a nice dent and paint chip on edge of door.
Called shop and they deny it. Ive never had a passenger in the back seat. I couldnt have done that.

go there and tell them they need to pay for it. just keep bitching at them. threaten them with an attorney. pull every trick in the book man. just like going to the dealer.
Go to the shop, talk directly to the owner. If it is a "chain" store trying finding a regional manager or director that you can talk to. If nothing else, contact a lawyer and/or the BBB. Good luck.
but dont forget, if you do mention attorney, make it seem like youre gonna go through with it. because in most cases, shops arent responsible for damages blah blah blah. so good luck with that dude. dont let them tug you around. show em that youre the smart one. you manipulate them, dont let them manipulate you.
I cant prove they did it, even though I know they did. If I go back and create a stink, they are just going to laugh and I put myself/truck in danger.
Its a small shop, not a chain. Run by a bunch of punks.
I can spin my wheels and make idle threats all day but that will only bring more pain and an attourney wil do nothing. Only onething thats going to teach them to respect their customers property and own up to mistakes made.
The guy showed me thier "import tuner" cars all lined up -- a bunch of POS mid 90s hondas and escorts all tricked out.

Tricked out escorts? Is that possible? I say sit across the street with a sign after you make the attorney threat. Tell all your friends. Park next to one of those tricked out escorts and "accidently" ding your door into theirs. OOPs. Let us know how this turns out for you bro.

I'd say get ahold of the BBB, find a number to the closest one in your area, and call them while you are at their shop...
Then ask them if they want to talk to the owner of the store... that'll make them happy...

bbb = joke. bbb standings mean nothing @ all. and, they like when you report a company, cause, they inform them they will get a bad standing with them...and voila...money sent to bbb.
moral of story, you shouldn't have gone to a shop ran by punks. i mean, you picked up your truck and it already had bubbles in it. but yea, you might just be screwed. no proof on either side.
but yea...just do what i'd do, and be arrogant. throw a brick at their cars or something...lol
