all the hemi guys are gonna say " why would you put a turbo on a 4.7,why not get a hemi? " but i got a 4.7l too and id like to throw a supercharger on it, just a little less complicated. i dont think you would be lookin at better gas milage, especially since you'll probably have to upgrade the fuel delivery via a tune-job...im not an expert though, i just wanted to chime in, i think it would be tight having hemi's lookin at your tail lights. ha

That looks like an awesome buy. I just can't seem how to find a price on it. I wonder how much they would cost with install and everything.

probably literally an arm and a leg... but you could probably supercharge it and still get better gas milage than a hemi...lol j/k the reason i didnt get a hemi is because all the negative stuff i got about the gas milage, but i imagine just like anything else if you drive it right it wouldnt be THAT bad. still spankin every stock truck on the market.

you need to check out the turbo replies that I got about a month ago.........the end result is that a super is really the way to go......'course you have to completely rebuild the engine to handle the preasure.

i think that the 02 ken bell supercharger would work on the knewer years you just need to get you computer in your truck set it up so that you can ajust the timing on you trans so you dont kill that but yeah no matter what if you dont do some work to the motor it will cut the life of the motor way down

yeah these truck can handle maybe 5-7 lbs max boost on stock internals. the tranny is fairly weak too. with the right custom tune (most likely sct tunes) it is possible. the SC would be the route i would go but that just me. ive seen a few sts turbo rams on here. great setup just pricey as hell........

EDIT:: just realized this was a old old thread brought back from the dead. damnit....
