Just sounds to me like the 1st "mechanic" didn't have a friggin' clue to what he was doing. And people question why I do 95% of the work on my vehicles myself...
Any stealership would be the last place I'd take my vehicle for work. Highest prices, lowest quality of work, IMO...

 

I agree. I used to be a mechanic and do all my work myself as well. Unfortunately I dont have an alignment rack at home! LOL
