Default Lifting the Front End.

Hi guys, I have an '06 Dodge Ram 3.7 standard cab. Love the truck, gettting about 17 in the city and about 23 on the highway. The only thing I don't like is the way it slants downhill with the lower front end. What is the best way to level my truck up in the front? And preferably the cheapest. Thanks in advance for any help.

moe in wichita ks
years ago chrysler recomended that race cars ( 62-68 ) maxi wedges , hemis ect. be set at the rocker panel tobe one to two inchs lower at the front. this is for two things , one it lets the front lift transfering wieght to the rear tires. in 1968 i talked to a owner of ahemi cuda, he said if he cranks the front up it looses traction on the line, of he droped it to factory specs it hooks good. two if the front is higher it will trap air under the car, killing miles per gal. on a mopar race car it should lift all four corners, the front more. heres how it works, if it is lifting in the rear it ispushing the rear tires into the pavment, giving more traction.

the daystar levelin kits are just coil spacers. gettin anythin bigger than a 1 inch maybe 1 1/2 inch, will just give u problems with ur ball joints. it puts them at such radical angles that they will wear like crazy. The safest way to go is get a 3 inch front spindle kit from rough country. Its a 3inch rise for sure (the spacers may only give u one or 2 inches of lift unless u go with the big ones) and u wont have any problems. it levels the truck out nicely

heres it before:

and after

install is easy as well
