2003 rotors?
Looking to replace my rotors, but before I do I wanted to know how hard are they to replace. Keep in mind that i am not too mech. inclined, but will have a little assistance. Just want to know what I will be getting into. Any help would be great!!
1. Pull wheel.
2. Unbolt caliper.
3. Unbolt caliper adapter (bracket).
4. Slide rotor off.
5. Slide new rotor on.
6. Bolt caliper adapter (bracket) back on (torque properly).
7. Reinstall caliper and pads.
8. Put wheel back on.
9. All done.

I plan on doing pads and rotors, or maybe just turning the rotors.(I get the slight shimmy when applying the brakes lightly.) But it seems that everyone on here says to just replace the rotors instead of turning them. I was going to get the slotted rotors, but is that a waste of money? I know that everyone has a different opinion on stuff, not wanting to drop a bundle, it is just time to do them. Truck has 43k on it with the original brakes.
Don't bother turning the rotors, they'll warp sooner because they're thinner. In addition to what was said above, you might want to clean up the hub the rotors mate to,and add aTHIN coat of never-seize to them. It will be much easier next time. Also clean up the mating surface behind them so they mount flat and run true to the hub. Also make sure you clean up the new rotors REAL clean before you install the caliper and pads on them. Then simply follow the break in for the pads recommended by the manufacturer
put the rotors on a lathe.
My buddy and I did this on his 02 shortly after I bought my 06 new, I drove his truck to check out the breaks and wow that thing stopped faster and firmer than my truck ever did.

dont buy any fancy vented slotted etc they generally warp quickly and you cant resurface them.
