Are air/fuel ratio gauges difficult to install? What is needed for the install? I am thinking about putting one in to watch it and see if I can pull some more mpg's.
+1...I have one from Autometer sitting in a gauge pod on my truck...but I have NO idea where to buy the correct wiring harness to set it up....Let me know how things go if you have any luck
do you have a wideband A/F or just a regular A/F gauge? Unless you have a wideband you wont know what your A/F really is...as for install you need to have another bung welded into your exhaust for the o2 sensor that supplies the gauge with the reading, wiring isnt hard just follow the instructions that come with it
On the 3rd gen rams dodge changed the voltage of the o2 sensors to the PCM, they are low voltage now. The aftermarket gauges use the older higher voltage so they are not compatable, which is why you need their o2 sensor. What kind of A/F gauge do you have?
