Someone hit my truck!
I personally wouldnt get the roll pan if your gonna tow anything. I think you're looking at headaches you will get sick of...maybe pimp the dodge and buy some schlep *** junker for towing when you need if its not that often. When you are ready for a hood let me know and ill point you to where i got it!

sucks about your truck though!!! i know exactly how you feel. when i got my first car (2005 honda cr-v), some dick hit it in the back at the mall. and the cr-v has that spare tire on the door so he hit my plastic tire cover. that **** cost me $600!!! well, good luck! at least now you can mod it to how wanted it

I would get an estimate and depending on how much the estimate is, tell them you are going to fix it your self. They will cut you a check and you can buy the roll pan and take it to a shop and get it put on and painted for less than what they originally quoted, then you can pocket the rest. They will have to most likely replace the entire bumper, which aint cheap from the factory and redo your bed. And when doing estimates they get prices from the factory so you know that jacks up the estimate. Thats what I did with one of my sport bikes, got some aftermarket parts and made some cash in the end.
My neighbors gate hit my new Ram the first week i had it.... it was the strong winds we had...
I got the paintless repair guy to my house and he fixed it for $75.00 and yes the neighbor paid for it

My truck got hit and runned a while back too - about $1500 damage. Talk to your insurance company, usually they willwaive the deductible if you report the hit and run within 24 hours - mine did!
I pretty much took your advice. I met with the Geico adjuster this morning - the repairs came to $1123, so he cut me a check for $623 (minus $500 deductable. They would not waive the $500 as some others suggested - uugh!). I know a good body shop (friend of mine) who will take care of the entire thing for a whopping $623 LOL. I do want to go with the roll pan, it's kinda growing on me, and that helped keep me from having to pay for anything out of pocket. I guess I kinda lucked out, but I still really hope the dick head who hit me totalled his car.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I'm curious, just how bad can damage actually be for paintless repair? I would assume that there can be no paint damage, but can dings/dents be deep? Sounds like a good buisness to be in.
