Default Fan Clutch ?

I need help on ordering a fan clutch for my ram. But what is the difference in one having a heavy duty cooling and one without? Which do I order? My truck is 4.7L half ton 2wd

Thanks in advance

I do, but my efan controller went out. Im running my efan without a controller and dont want the battery to drain to much or any other problems to arise till I get everything running the 100% correct. Since autozone has the fan clutch in stock right now I will use that till I get the new controller.

Most 2k-3k cfm e fansa only draw 10 amps. The 4k plus can draw 50 amps but those are twin fans.
Seems like a waste of money when you could order the broken part and get it in a few days.

my e-fan draws almost 100 amps on start up and between 33-35 amps when running. I dont have the viper, but dont see how it would be much different...

You must go through some fuses. My Flex-a-lite fan kit came with a 40A.

I guess we did deviate a bit. Man, I love being a deviate Anyway, it wouldn't seem to hurt to get the heavy-duty cooling version, and probably isn't a whole bunch more $
