i think home depot is having a 20% off sale on their boxes. don't know if it is nationwide though.

if you want a real good box for work and such weatherguard and jobox are the best

there is a miriad of places to get them online, but you may find a good price locally...i did.

i think they're making mini boxes now. only a 12 to 14"as opposed to the standard 19-20". kind of like a side rail box that mounts like a saddle.

Yeah tsc has a good selection, well a good selection for just about anything a man could need.
But with a 6ft box it just takes up too much space for what they're worth. And having an LB with a QC thatll just make parking a bitch.

Picked mine up at a Tractor Supply about a month after I bought the truck in '04. Other than a big ding from driving the ATV into it, it's still in perfect shape...

Hey Timmer, How do you secure your ATV in there? I found I was uncomfortable with the thing sitting so far back on the tailgate because of the toolbox. Especially when I go up to the farm in GA. which is about a 5.5 hr. drive, mostly at interstate speeds. I picked up one of these a little over two years ago and love it...

I use two heavy duty rachet straps from therear tie down's to the ATV's rear rack. My biggest oneis a Yamaha Kodiak and does look a bit shorter than yours.... I take some pretty steep grades with mine up the Columbia River Gorge at Biggs Jct. and have yet to have any problems. The majority of my hauling was in my Chebby 1500 V8and I'm sure my Ram will do it even better.....

I do need some longer ramps now (mine are 3 wide folding) as the RAM sits so much higher.

Is that some kind of holder on yours? from the hitch I mean?

That's what I was talking about, no more straps. Secures the ATV to the hitch, won't move forward or backward, plus gets the weight off the tailgate when you hit bumps. It's called a "Louisiana Guard Dog". I was the first to get one in my Ga. hunting club. Mainly because of the long interstate ride I had to make after I moved to Fl. to take care of my parents. Now about a dozen guys have gotten one.
You gotta check out the video on their website...
