Default can you swap seats....?

Is it possible to put the seats from the 2006-2008 2500/3500's into the 2003-2005 2500/3500's?

The reason I ask is a friend of mine just replaced the seats in his 2006 3500 and im interested in puting them in my 2003 2500. I tryed pulling the answer up using the search field with no luck (user error probably) Thanks in advance.

just look at bolts. there are only like 4 in each seat. if they look like they are in the same, they probably are. bring a 14mm and your truck over to his place and just try it. it should only take like half an hour.

And even if the bolts holes dont line up it wouldnt be hard to make them fit, just need to make an adaptor piece

If I had not bought leather for mine I would get a set of used (from a wreck) 04-05 SRT seats.

i'm not sure about changing out the seats, but my '05 1500 Quad cab is the base model so the console in the middle doesn't open. I wanted to buy just the console but no one would sell just that. They wanted $600 for the entire middle seat.

Ive seen a couple wrecked rams where i live. Id use the net and look around, maybe even an online parts finder service. These things have been around long enough to have a few wrecked ones out there.
