broken clips in LSD rearend Ram1500
Dave,
Thanks for the info. I just got off the phone with local dealer and he said yes on the 7/70 with $100.00 deductible. I'll probably go that route for now instead of replacing the carrier with an Auburn and change the gears to 4.56's.

Just wanted to update you guys. I dropped the truck off Tuesday night and I'm picking it up today 2 day turn-around. The service manager stated they replaced the clutches and the clips. They also replaced both axle seals ( I noticed 1 was leaking while I was under the truck). They tried to talk me into new rotors stating my old ones were scored and very rusty. I declined on the $110.00 a piece rotor. So I'll paythe $100.00deductible plus taxand be back on the road.
Thats good news... now that you have a fairly new rebuilt 9.25 you really should have it replaced with an Auburn or Detroit true track and put that one up on Ebay. You could get 100-150 for it to put towards your Gear/POSI upgrade. In my opinion, the factory fix is temporary. I have spoken to several people who have had the "FIX" only to be back in paying the $100.00 deductible again.... they just stuck the same junk into it trying to buy time till your warranty is up... when its up they will charge you over 2,000 bucks for the same work.... its a money maker for them. Visit D.o.d.g.e.T.a.l.k.com and search "broken CLIP" you will find several well documented treads on the subject.
