I had a Dakota with A 3.9 and it sounded good with A Flowmaster 50 dumped at the axles. The v-6's respond well to mods. I wasnt ashamed at all to drive a six!

 

DerrickSmash (sp?) has a V6 with an aftermarket exhaust, don't remember what type though. Flowmaster 40s will drone, doesn't matter what engine they're on. My 4.7 drones badly running a constant 50mph.

 

Yea I have heard DerrickSmashes truck, sounds good. I just got done putting the side exit back on and upgraded the piping to 2.5", now it sounds great and even better than before. For some reason last time I used 2.25" piping cuz thats what I had laying around. Im saving for my body lift and a few other goodies.

 

dude, the ram's v6 can be modded slightly and can beat a camaro or mustang. i dunno man, im glad i got the HEMI, but i do miss my v6 for the fun factor. the factor being it a v6 and tearing other cars apart because it didnt have a HEMI.
