Flowmaster and just a turn down. I had my Flowmaster 40 with exit before the rear wheel and liked the sound but wasnt as loud as I hoped, seen some and heard some flows with turn downs and sounded good and loud. I put a turn down on today and it sounds horrible in the truck, a lot of drone in the cab and just seems like my truck doesnt sound healthy. I dont know what it sounds like outside the truck but hate it inside, so I will be putting my side exit back on tomorrow.

Its a 2002 3.7 I know its not a V8 but its sounds like crap with the turn down. I know it wont sound like a V8, just stating how it sounds.

no, i wasnt gonna say anything about it being a v6. lol. youre just bashing yourself now. lol. i just never heard a v6 with aftermarket exhaust. v6 still sounds throaty. its no 4 banger. by the way, i had a 2006 3.7L v6 before the HEMI. so dont trip chocolate chip. lol.

well if you dump em between the axles they will be louder in the truck as well since it isnt being shot out the side of the truck...

 

Yea I have to defend myself before it happens, people will rip the $hit out of me just for having a V6 and wanting to put an exhaust on. I have been on here for a little while and thats what it seems everyone wants to do to the V6 2wd is beat them down, hence the lack of posts. But the truck does sound like crap and will be changing it today!

The V6 2WD family is not a bad one. I love my truck when low life a-holes are not stealing parts off of it. Don't take crap from the few hemi guys that crack on us for having the smaller engine.
