Just a quick question,

It may always have been this way, I just never noticed...I pulled the PCM fuse and did a reset, all went well.

Question is...When I turn my key to the on position (truck not started) all my dash lights come on then off as usual, but what Im not sure is normal is that the engine light (the light that looks like an engine) comes on also with the rest, then flashes 10 times then stays steady....Is this normal???

BTW: If I start the truck the light does go off as it should.

Mine always stays on as well when the key is in the 2nd position but not turned over. Never noticed it blink though. I don't think there's anything you should worry about, but I could be wrong.

 

Mine does the same thing blinks 10 times but check engine lite stays on with engine runnig. I did the on off on off on with the key but no code shows just --------- and then --done-- any help please ?
