Default which tuner is the best for the money?

I was looking at getting the hypertech tuner but i dont know much about them? anybody know which tuners get the best performance for the price. the hypertech had an advertisement in TruckTrend magazine. It said it gave the hemi 20% better gas mileage and an increase of about 17hp. What do yal think?

Superchips....you can get a vin locked one and pay $100 to unlock...i got mine for $50 + $!00 for unlock=$150. not a bad deal....Superchips customer service is MUCH better than hypertechs, and they are headquartered 1 mile from my house, so I have first hand knowledge.

It's around the same price as the other tuners....$400-$500. My Predator for my Ls1 was $400..

It's been a long wait and it'll probably still be a few months...but they finally put it up on their home page so that's a good sign. Here's the thread on their forum for the ram trucks. http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...pic&t=3231

This is from the CEO of diablosport "The tool will support 2003 - 2008 DR's with full ECM, TCM, axle ratio/tire size adjustments, user adjustable parameters and full datalogging. Plus custom tuning support for those with modified trucks."

User adjustable parameters for the predatorare usually injector slope/size, spark timing, shift points, line pressure...etc. You can also get custom tunes through diablosport using your home computer...which is the safest bet until you know what your doing and/or have a wide band o2 and the truck on a dyno.
