Default new interior

i was thinking about redoing my interior in the truck since its an 02 and has gotten faded. i would like to put new flooring in. do i need to go to a car upholstry shop and get carpet or can i go to home deot and get some nice black carpet and put it in the truck? i was also thinking about pulling off that little carpet onn the bottom of the door and putting black diamond plate there. and then some black leather from ebay for the seats.

what do you guys think about the carpet? and if i can go to home depot and get it...do i need the padding underneath or just put the carpet in.

any ideas from you guys would be great. im not looking for crazy color, but new rich black color is what i want

House carpet is gonna be too deep and will keep dirt realy bad. Can't imagine my looped Berber in my truck. HD sells Astro turf LOL.

It will stay by bolts holding the seats down.

^^ that's kinda what i'm saying. after a while, it'll "form" into shape. if it sticking to ground bothers you too much, use some spray glue like every square foot...nothing too much, but just enough to hold it down long enough for it's shape to naturally be taken.
