Default removing cats

so a month and a half ago i cut out te 3rd cat on my truck, and welded in a stright pipe. i mainly cut it out because the charcoal inside broke and was rattleing. now i have the same damn rattle.....coming from the upper cat on the passanger side.

with that being said....whats my best bet and low on price? i heard if i cut them out and weld in another straight pipe on both sides it will throw codes. can i do this? or should i get hi-flow magnaflow cats...which i saw on jegs for like $89. all help and opinions would be great! btw its a 4.7

throw codes cause of the sensors seeing the cats arent working right? you can buy simulators to replace the sensors and it wont throw any codes...

where can i get simulators? i think the cheapest, best sounding and best flow which gives me the best mpgs will be NO cats and all straight pipe except for my muffler.

Headers, one cat for each bank, muffler, resonator

I didn't think they had 3 cats. My 06' didn't have any resonators as well.
