I basically did the same thing, blow dryer to heat the tape, but i used wd-40 and my finger nail, and to get the rest off i used finger nail polish remover without acteone, followed by a godd wash and good wax job

looks nice! i think its amazing how much better it looks debadged and it looks so much cleaner. i hear the 3M eraser wheel works really good too.
