Ouch, the A/C compressor is near the bottom of the engine! Sure hope it's accessible. I see the TB is up front, like my C.

it is nice but i bet that thing is goin to be a bitch to work on... i seen on there it was saying something about how they have it where it dont shift hard to make the transmission last longer but i was think them making it slip like that would make it wear out alot faster

yeah allpar is a pretty good place to find some good reading...i've been on their site a couple times over the last 3 yrs or so and it's really accurate with it's info

It looks like they have a plastic version of the6.1 intake manifold on the new 5.7, if they kept the block the same it should bolt onto the older hemi. I'll have to check into this, should be cheaper than buying the actual 6.1 intake manifold.

So I'm curios to know maybe I didn't read right but what is the year on the first generation and second generation hemi I have a 07 and pretty sure I have the 345 but mine has mds just curious to know.

It doesn't quite "slip"...any slipping would be in the torque converter. I think it's talking about torque management which pulls the timing during shifts to lower torque...which puts less stress on the tranny. It can be tuned out on GM's but i'm not sure about DCX.

I believe the SCT tuner can eliminate torque management. But i've heard rumors of unpleasant things happening as a result of it.
