Probably cost another $1,000 to $1,500 to have it installed and tuned correctly. It's pretty hard to control yourself when you have the power your truck is going to have. I don't think it's going to help your trans situation. Pro Chargers are internally lubricated. I have one on my Corvette.

ORIGINAL: deerjunkie

Aren't Powerdynes internally lubricated? Where others like Procharger get lubrication from the engine oil, which I prefer....Just something to think about.
It's the other way around...

If you can find someone to tune it for a reasonable price then I would get it.

the computer will not need tuning when i install it it comes with a fmu and new fuel pump when the super charger hits 3 psi of boost the fmu allows more fuel pressure thus allowing more fuel per injector pulse. tuning is not needed according to powerdyne since it is only 6psi of boost

Plus, you'll still be able to tow with that supercharger. Turbos on our gassers while towing can cause some really high EGT's. (Although I would still put in a pyrometer to keep track of the EGTs on the SC, just to be safe)

egt's wont be a problem with the supercharger since it is ran with a belt and not by the exhaust but good looking out djr04. i will be running an air fuel ratio gauge boost gauge and tranny temp gauge to make sure i dont get the tranny too hot!
