I'm partial to NGK. Others swear by Champion. The consensus is copper, not platinum. BTW, there are sixteen of 'em, not eight as some dealers will tell you. Taylor makes good plug wires as does MSD. If you decide to use 8.2mm or larger, they apparently won't fit in the loom on top of the engine. You can get "shorties" that will make the engine bay look a bit neater.
I've bought a fair number of Champion plugs -- never bought a good one. On the other hand, I've had a larger number of NGKs and a few Bosch with never a failure.
I ran the Bosch plat. in my K cars for about 9 or 10 years. never had anytrouble from them. I did have one mech. tell me that they would crack the head becouse of the excess heat, that was after I had used them for 5 years.. NTS I told him to go **** up a rope..
So for in my 4.7 im useing stock replacements from the dealer, the seem to do a good job & my parts guy get me a good deal on them.
