Default eBay exhaust

I purchased this exhaust off eBay this week and installed it last night.

I was really afraid to do it thinking it wouldn't fit right, be missing something and I wouldn't get any answer from them but the price was so good and supposedly it included everything you need. I won the auction Wednesday around noon and emailed them the info they needed. A 58 lb box showed up on my doorstep before noon on Friday. I quit work at 2:00 and i was cleaning up at 5:00. I just clamped everything for now since I was so anxious to get it on the truck.

It sounds so great. It came with a 40 series Flowmaster and I was afraid that it would be too loud but it's not for me. My CAI arrives next week so I'll see what that does to it. After I get that done and one more mod I can finally take some pictures and video.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that as far as I'm concerned I will definately order from the guys again if I need something that they have.

i just got a magnaflow kit from them. there's a few issues with mine. the hangers suck, the driver side is rubbing against a brake line, the pipes are too long so they stick out the back 3-4".
But all that aside, it really is a pretty good kit. A couple small modifications and it'll be good to go. And you can't beat the price. Congratulations on your new exhaust!

actually, i think i'm going to go do that right now

btw, note to all, don't start an exhaust swap when there is a thunderstorm on the horizon, [sm=badidea.gif]
what a clusterf!!k that was

Haha, well actually. I went to AutoZone last night to get two hangers to tweak it a little and I plan on cutting two or three inches off the end since I think it sticks out a little too far. But from my past experiences with exhaust this stuff is nothing.

I'm glad you like it, and not trying to rain on your parade, just throwing something out there for the guys that might read this thread.

I paid $215 with install at a local exhaust shop for my 50 series HD setup. I can understand if you're a big do-it-yourselfer or really don't have any other options in your town, but if you shop around enough, you can usually find someone willing to put it on pretty cheap. Personally I'd rather have someone local put it on so I can take it back if something goes wrong...

Just my $0.02

I paid $600 for my exhaust + install, but I went true duals with stainless 4" 50HDs and the craftsmanship is VERY IMPRESSIVE...I also chose to go to the most highly renowned exhaust shop in west TN. The welds were done by a guy who has been working in the same pit for the last 30 years, and his welds show his expirience!

I hate a clamped muffler system! I had one on my dak. and while backing up one day, one of the clamps came off and the pipe fell off and wrapped around the back axle, destroying the passenger side suspension...CLAMPS SUCK!!!!

How do i attatch a sound file to a post? I will be glad to let you hear it, i just need to know how...

i think they'll do alright. especially since when I went to tweak them yesterday the damn pipes wouldn't move even after i took the clamps of because i put them on real tight to begin with. more like a press fit system?

wow $215 for a 50 HD install?! damn, maybe I should have shopped around locally first. Is it with dual exits? and I paid about 50 for shipping, and probably 50 for the SS tips. so i guess it would be around $150 if all that wasn't there. but damn you got a hell of a deal! and no headache either.

The clamps on my Hemi and SRT are fine. Some clamps are better than others.

I paid a little over $300 for my American Thunder cat back when I bought my 05. I was surprised to see it up near $500 3 years later!
