Does anybody here have an aluminum driveshaft with their 4.56 gears? I want to get them but I've heard roomers about the aluminum driveshaft breaking with those gears.

Ask HemiYellow 'bout them aluminum driveshafts...
I don't think the gears are gonna make a difference though, I mean at 70 mph I'm only taching about 400 rpm more after the gears. If 400 rpm is gonna blow the driveshaft, it was gonna go anyway...

with my tires....at 70 MPH im at 2000 rpms....but my mds runs more than it ever has..and I end up with good mileage......for instance...this past weekend i drove 92 miles...filled up before I hit the HWY...at 70 mph....and when I got off 92 miles later...I filled up again...it only took 4.2 gallons. it did go up and down in elevation...so like I said...my mds was running more than ever...on the downhill side of it all......

https://dodgeforum.com/m_680597/tm.htm This post made me think twice about getting the 4.56s at least until I get a 2 piece SRT10 driveshaft or a steel one.

LOL! Good times.

I've only had two trucks try to race me and win...and they were both Dodge duallies. WTF?
