for people who have a collection of those mods on their truck , which would you say did the most justice for performance>?

 

Number one by far is 4.56 gears, followed by Superchips Flashpaq (although ditching it in favor of an SCT is in the not-too-far off plans) and then the Pacesetter LT Headers...

 

Havent done the rearend work yet, but superchips is my favorite, then headers, exhaust, cai....Royal Purple is in there somewhere too...

 

if you have stock 3.92 rear end, and go to 4.56, you just increased the torque at the wheels by about 16%. Granted it's kind of cheating, and you'll run through the gears faster at the expense of top end, but its going to feel like another 60 ft-lbs of torque!! (until you hit about 70 anyway ). i'd imagine that'd be on anyone's short list (that can afford them)

for you guys that swapped in 4.56 gears, what did that do to your mileage?

 

Increased it by about 1-2 mpg in town, decreased it by about 1 on the interstates, over-all about the same...

 

Superchips, then exhaust.

 

looks like gears is one of better ones for the dodge ram eh? good to know....

 

definitely the gears, going from 3.55 to the 4.10 was the best for me. then the 75 shot of nitrous. the list is endless
