Default What tires to buy???

I am getting ready to buy new tires for my 03 Quad cab 4x4 with 4.7 auto. Stock is 265x70-17, of course. I drive 130 miles daily on the highway for work, but go snowmobiling and in the woods. What tire has everyone had good luck with? I am looking at Michelin LTX A/T2, BFG AT, Goodyear AT/S, and Nittos, probably stock height to keep fuel economy

Cooper STT. I like them better than the stock BFG all-terrains that came on our PowerWagon. A little noisy but it is music to my ears. They have better road manners than the BFG's. They are excellent in the snow and mud. Tread goes about 3" down the sidewall so if you do have to air down you get more traction as well as a wider footprint and more floatation. Also have a bead protector-3ply sidewalls I think. I will definately buy another set when these go away. Hope this helps.

Are they real aggressive? Like I said, I do a large amount of highway driving.

You have to look at the Bridgestone A/T Revos. Quiet driving tire and unbelievable traction off road. I had them on my 03 Ram 4X4 and can't wait to put them on my 06.

I’m running stock size Pirelli Scorpion ATR’s on my Ram and Dakota. I need all terrain types to just get up my very steep ¼ mile long gravel drive to the farm. Other than that most of my miles are “highwayâ€. These tires are very quite on the highway for an all-terrain. Great reviews by users. I know I love them!

here's my imput. i drive alot, the goodyear HPs arent worth poop. I needed a tire that was good on gas and could rip up terrain at the same time. My nitto 305/60/20s allterrains werent too expensive but they get the job down, look awesome and no highway noise.
