RE: driveshaft
i broke the shaft, bashed in the corner of the gas tank, bashed the muffler to hell and tore up some EVAP ****...still gotta get the EVAP **** replaced and pull out the dent in the gas tank...right now if i fill it up it'll read like it's down a 1/8 tank cause the float is stopped by the dent in the tank lol

RE: driveshaft
that sucks man. but after what hammer said and i was talking to oefootball who pretty much has the same truck i do. hes got a suspension lift and i have a leveling kit and a 3" body lift. he has 35's and im getting 35's and he has 4.56 gears and ill have the same. both 2wds with the aluminum driveshaft and he hasnt had a problem. so im pretty much gonna do my tries and gears and pray that the driveshaft doesnt break lol

ya like i said im gonna hope for the best and go from there. if that **** breaks....i feel bad for traffic passing by. im gonnathrow that **** ill probally be so pissed hah. but like i said, hopefully that wont happen.
now that i think about it.....this may be a stupid question, but i dont know. does the speed of the driveshaft depend on the speed of the vehicle or the amount of RPM's?

RE: driveshaft
lol @ not making a long one out of steel. HAHA. what amount stretch limos? are they all running aluminums?
anyways, put a ring around your driveshaft in case it breaks. so it catches it. put it towards frot of shaft. that's where it'd most likely break i think, but also, if the back end snaps, who cares if it hits the ground...the draggin, so hitting a pothole wouldn't do ****. my old dakota had one in cause i snapped one, and it went ape **** until i pulled over. my 93 dakota had a 2002 360 in it. t'was my baby. it was wrecked, long story.
