Sorry weed, for asking all the questions brother, I'm just really interested in this one. What do you mean with folding the resistors in half?

cuz the ends of the resistors are soo long and thin, you fold them in half so the crimp can clamp down on them and they wont slide out

so i saw on oklahemi's write up he used 4.7k-Ohm resistors. 1/4 watt, 5% tolerance. i just ran out to radio shack and got some resistors, but they ar 47k-Ohm. 1/2 watt, 5% tolerance. will they work or should i get something different?

1/2 watts wont make a difference. 4.7k's trick the PCM into thinking the incoming air is 22* cooler. But it will only go so low before the PCM takes over and corrects itself. So if its 50* outside, dont think the PCM will let it think it is 50*-22*

This is a pic of mine I did some time back. Tuned has it right on why you should bend the resistor wires in half.

So I should use a 4.7k 1/4 wt instead of a 47k 1/2 wt?

I'm guessing it won't make a difference.
