Long Tubes give the best gains, but you are going to have to either ditch the cats or move them back (or install the new ones back farther) to allow for the longer length of the headers. A new Y Pipe would probably be in order too.
As far as the ceramic coating goes, I don't think it matters as far as the heads are concerned, but you really want the coating to keep the headers from discoloring and more importantly, to keep the engine bay temperatures down. The coating makes a huge difference. Mine were custom coated at a coating shop. If you go with the factory ceramic coat, make sure that it's spec'd that the coating is both on the inside and outside...

Oh yea, almost forgot, if you keep the cats, it means you'll have to extend the rear O2 sensors about 18" as well...

x2 Ceramic is not required but its a very good thing to have when you have your headers.Keeps them from discoloring.

magnaflow high flow cats...You will most likely need to do the non fouler trick also if you throw codes for the rear o2 sensor

I didn't have to worry about the non-fouler trick as I used the stock cats, just moved back about 18" or so. Some 22GA. wire and shrink tubing was enough to extend the sensor wires and just plug 'em in.I have heard that some of the aftermarket high flow cats will pop a CEL now and again though, but the non-fouler trick should be a nice $10 fix...

I am gone, at the farm (south Ga.) and am using a friends internet phone for access. Burning his minutes, so I was basically doing a quick check for PM's.
Won't be on at all from monday 6/9 thru tuesday 6/17 as I will be camping and last time I was there in '05 I didn't even have a cell phone signal.
Will be back at the farm after the 17th. Will try and get pix then...

I'm running long tubes without cats so how does that non fouler trick work?
