Default MDS Activated LED

I installed an MDS LED yesterday. It works great!

As I suspected, even with the stock exhaust, it is possible to detect when the MDS is working. The exhaust sound goes up a slight bit in tone and makes a chugging kind of sound. It reminds me of my dad`s old Chevy pickup with the 350 motor, it was an old boy that gave him lots of years.

I can detect a little surge of increased power when it switches to 8 cylinder. Air conditioning, even at full on a hot day, doesn`t seem to have any effect on it.

If it doesn't rain again today I'll take some. Otherwise, it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow.

is there a DIY on here anywhere? I could not find one. I am pretty sure how to do it but I would like to get some input on how you mount the LED and how to run the wires from the engine compartment to the Cab. ect.

I made a little tutorial. I couldn't post here so I put it on my own site. If a mod wants to take the content and put it into the DIY section I'd be fine with that. It's here... http://ceretti.com/mds

Same mod for an '07?

Also, if you already have a Sirius radio subscription, why not transfer it to the truck radio vs hardwiring in your portable receiver?
