what should I buy him for his new truck. Around 200-250 bucks

steps are lame with no lift. Custom hitch cover (I'll post mine later when I'm at a CPU) I've got a jump starter kit with a light, USB and 12v chargers as well as a 250psi compressor. Not a bad all in one. Replace his head/fogs with silverstar ultras.

Steps are lame without a lift??? Dang, and I thought they looked pretty decent on my truck.... Plus it's a father's day present, and sometimes older fella's need a little help getting in and out of these tall trucks...

Steps, CAI, soft tonneau, bed liner, tint, audio, lighting. All in that price range.

i agree nurf bars do look good on non lifted trucks, mine look great. i'm young so i don't need the help getting in but it's not an easy step up without them for sure.

steps, CAI, exhaust, and tint would be some good choices in that price range.

you could always do a throttle body spacer only 80 - 100 bucks
