yea i wanna see a link and a vid too.

that seems like a simple setup, the whole air compressor job is too much for me to try for just a horn.

and derrick, man...i don't even know, lol. but if i ever see a red ram go down the street blowing and honking, i will most definately wave and say hi, or maybe pretend like i don't know you.

if you want a "true" train horn, keep in mind that federal regulations require it to be 150 db at 150 ft.... I can tell you from the experience of several thousand miles of listening to the damn things... you're better off with the big rig horns....

just my opinion

And unless you got some loot to waste the real thing isn't cost effective hahahaha and even with that horn you will need a system capable of i believe its 200+ PSI hahaha I do like that fog/tug horn vid that would be killer hahaha

My bf bagged his truck and I bought him a set of Train Horns and he hooked it up to the compressor. Those things will blow your damn ear drums out....

Just wanted to show off my new horn. I got this horn off ebay for $24.00, and this thing is loud. It really sound more like an 18 wheeler than a train, but it is about 5x louder than stock, and I like it. It was also nice that it matched my truck.
Can you please post where you got it from on ebay? I really want one and cant find it anywhere. Is something like this good too - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRAIN...237028569&

I just done a search on train horn, and come across it. The one you are looking at would be great, but you have to get a air tank for it.

those kits come with everything. they have a small electric compressor that pump the horns directly, no air tank needed. but that also means less pressure so they are quieter. here:

and please don't bid on this:

thanks
