Default Train horn!

Just wanted to show off my new horn. I got this horn off ebay for $24.00, and this thing is loud. It really sound more like an 18 wheeler than a train, but it is about 5x louder than stock, and I like it. It was also nice that it matched my truck.

Nah, that's not a loud horn. THIS is a loud horn.

You know it's not loud enough until you hear the echoes off the mountains!

I've got a matching set of semi truck horns that I have never installed on anything. Frankly, before I got the Ram I never owned anything BIG enough that they would fit anywhere! These are probably 18" TO 2' long. My Dad had them on each of his trucks. They have a copper sheet in them for a diaphram instead ofhte lousy rubber ones of modern horns and my dad drove them off an old, small hospital O2 tank he would fill up at the gas station. I think the way to do it now is to wire in a small compressor and plumb that to the tank so trips to the gas station are eliminated. Anyone have a wiring/plumbing diagram for how I could do this? I think I'd mount the horns under the front of the bed due to space limitations under hood.

The horn has got air lines, and it is electric.

The other horns are nice and loud, but I wanted one I could use anytime, and not get pulled over for it. This horn is about 5x louder than stock, I think that is really more than anybody needs.

If you read my post, I said it sounded more like an 18 wheeler. My search on ebay for train horns lead to what I have, and the box they came in said they were train horns, but like I said they sound more like an 18 wheeler.
