I recently bought a 2008 RAM QuadCab that, unfortunately, didn't come with the preferred equipment package and thus does not have the Infinity 7 speaker system.
My question is, does anyone know if the wiring is in the dash to where I could add a couple of 3.5" speakers, or is it and possibly factory amps missing.
Also, soes anyone know where to buy the drop-in coin holder that goes in the center seat console? Dodge quit installing them in 08 and the dealer wants $65 for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've tried a few salvage yards in the area, but have had no luck as of yet.

no, the wiring isn't in the dash (At least in my 06 it isn't)

 

Dont worry about putting speakers there. Get some good quality speakers for all the doors and a new head unit or amp.
