I set my truck back to stock tune because it was going to the stealership for the recalls and wow what a pig! I thought it would be alittle slower but not this much.

 

i'm about to set mine back down for the next phase of my mpg testing. that and it keeps throwing the CEL. hope i don't feel too much a difference in throttle response.

 

Oh ya throttle response will go from real snappy to almost none at all. lol Almost like towing a heavy trailer.

 

I just uninstalled my superchips yesterday and im lovin it, no more long assshifts, my cam lope is more noticable, and im not throwing lean codes anymore my gas milage has dropped about 2 mpg though, but I can live with that; only thing im using the superchips for is dataloging...If anyone wants to buy a superchips mine will be for sale in about 2 weeks, just PM me

 

just drove mine with it back to stock. holy hell those shifts are long. and they come much sooner. it's already in 3rd now around the time it would think about going into 2nd.

do i just have to put it back to stock to "unlock it" before i can sell it? or is there another step i have to take to make sure the next guy can use it?

Wouldn't itmake more sense to upshift sooner on the economy mode.I think driving in a lower gear uses more fuel....Really only need to raise the shift point when your pressing hard on the go pedal.

 

What's the call? Do I want this super chip? Looks like everyone going stock.

 

I'd wait for Diablosport to release the Predator for the HEMI trucks. They are usually a better unit. The one I had on my 01 F150 worked great.
