Default Y-Pipe > Dual Exhaust

I want to get a Y-pipe and make my truck go to a dual exhaust with one exhaust pipe behind the right-rear tire and the other behind the left-rear tire...where should I look to buy a Y-Pipe and I'm also not too sure what my outlet is on the muffler (I think it might be 3")...also, how much should it cost to get the y-pipe?

Buy a exhaust kit. or go to a muffler shop and they'll do it for not too much.

I bought a single 3 in dual 2.5 out and ran it. Muffler was 100 bucks, (magnaflow), and the pipes run were 250.00

thats the first thing i had was the y pipe because i wanted no mufflers and it sounded good!!! and defanetely get them out the sides behind the tires, when your enclaved enviroments, sounds even better! thats just me , im all about the noise though.

I have them out the sides behind the rear tires and honestly I think out the back is a better option. I should have known better as when I had it redo the exhaust I told them to do it the same as it looks soo much better. Seems like everyone has it straight out the back. The reason I don't like it coming out the sides is that the tires throw anything and everything on the exhaust tips. I find myself having to clean them once a week or so sometimes more to keep them looking nice. The tires just throw everything on them so they get dirty super quickly. If you ever do a burnout expect them to be coated in rubber too. I think straight out the back would be a better route even though they may not look as good. Hopefully they would last longer and take less abuse.
