Default 06-08 Conversion Kit

I dont who asked it but i remember a while back someone asked about changing a 02-05 face to a an 06-08 style. Well... i found someone who did it and is selling their truck - check it out- they changed just the lights...i dont how hard it is but i dont think it just involves taking out the old lights and puting new ones it. http://www.southeasttexas.com/autos/....cfm?id=161870

I don't know how you could do that considering the lights are completely different. At a minimum you would have to change the front fender panels since the lights are a different shape.

thats what i figured but im not sure if can just change the lights and leave the bumper and grill the same since they are shaped to fit with the old lights

semigod...thats not true. look close enough. the upper bumper has the 2 curves that fit the 02-05 headlights. the 06-08s dont have that. and the grille is more curved and rounded on his....the 06'08 has more straight lines. all he did was get new quarter panels and headlights.

Also, if you look at the grille, it has the Ram Head at the top. The 06-08's have it in the center of the grille.

Yup, i just caught the ram head in the grille and the bumper cover after mmstar pointed it out, he just swapped out the fenders then. The hoods are the same for a few years back as well. Leaving that bumper cover like that looks cheesey as hell! What a pinhead. If your gonna do it, do it RIGHT!

Yeah, it looks horrible IMO, and he didn't even finish the work on the doors - you can still see the body filler where he removed the door handles. (And why do that too?)
