Leveling kit question
Putting the new shocks will make my camber worse. Tech showed me the adjustment, its just a half *** slot where the control arm bolts on. Its all the way to the inner side of the slot. Tire country might know a way of getting it to adjust into limits. Ill find out tomorrow.
Stopped by a good year shop on 84 and pine island. Said he could just put camber kits in for $90 a peice and $60 labor.. he was just throwing prices out there so Im sure I can findem cheaper. But at least I know they havem.
ya, its always good to know theres an option rather than grinding **** haha. ill see what my service manager has to say tomorrow. what should i tell him your situation is exacty. it just wont align because your camber specs are already maxed out?

MMstar...
Took the truck over to Tire Country on Monday. They looked and said they could align it. They also ordered me 1500 shocks for rancho and you specify the length. Their made for all different amouny of lifts. The Techs at sears are complete morons. I found the print out yesterday under all the paper trash they left in my truck. Left side camber was in limits but on max side. Right side was .3 of a degree over. Tire Country had no problems, I looked after the aligned it and there was a lot more adjustment that the nut was covering up. Truck rides great now. So now everyone can know you MUST change the shocks!!! Tire Country are good people, good prices too.
A plus note, got my superchip in the mail yesterday, paid $80 on ebay for a "locked" superchip. Hooked it up for the hell of it and it was unlocked, didnt have to pay SC $100 to reprogram it. Took it on 95 with the performance tune and speedo went over 120 before I ran into more traffic, and I dont have the CAI yet...very nice.
