I have an 07 2wd QC, and of course am tired of the front end sag. Any suggestions on leveling kits (I saw that 06+ have struts, whats the difference in the kit) and whats the chance of having to get new struts/alterations?
I also saw a picture-by-picture DIY on it, so hopefully it wont be that bad. Whats yalls opinion on the size lift also?
Another thing, whats a good price on a ram air hood? NOT FIBERGLASS haha

i have polyurethane and have not had any issues, but poly was my only option. but i think id go steel. as for leveling...what are you trying to do? just get the truck level or get as much height as possible. if your looking for the most height, go with the 2.5", just put a 1" block in the rear. if you want it about perfectly level, get the 2"

i saw on here that 2" is less than level, but i dunno. Yea im looking for just level...but how hard is putting the blocks in the back? and how much trouble was ur spacers?
mmstar, ive got a buddy with an 03 or 04 ram your color, with your lights and a 3" body/6" suspension on 36" terra grapplers and 22" rims...he got it regeared and also the steering reduced....looks just about like your truck, and everyone just stares and goes drop-jawed when they seem his truck

ya, but ive heard from a good number of people that 2.5" gives a nose up look. they really need a 2.25" spacer. but IMO id rather have slightly nose down that nose up. but i think a 2" spacer will be pretty close to level. requiring a hard look to notice. the spacer in the backi just a metal block that goes on top of the axle and under the leaf springs. mine was harder because you need longer u bolts, but the u bolts i had were too narrow, but i got them for free and had to bend them out to get around the axle and back in to fitback into the plate. installation (if you buy the right things is very easy) jack it up by the frame, not the axle.....put jack stands up to hold the body. then take your jack and put it up to the axle.unbolt the ubolts. drop the axle a little bit to slide in the spacer, the side with the pin goes down. jack the axle back up, put on the longer ubolts. bolt it up and youre done. with the right parts, you looking at no more than an hour tops! if you know what your doing....30 minutes

good deal, im trying to find a good spacer kit and sounds like ill order both...do i need the 2.5 if i do the block? i also dont really wanna screw up my shocks (i know i need new ones, but damn! gas is killing my extra money) and also, im still under warranty for awhile...im guessing that voids it?
