I'll be using conventional. Since my truck has the lifetime warranty why should I spend the extra $ for synthetic?

Some people claim to see better fuel economy with synthetic, and it can also cut down on the number of oil changes since you can get more miles out of a single oil change, which will save you money.

With your theory, you could say why buy a name brand oil instead of the 50c a quart variety? If the engine blows up, they will fix it, right?

You're correct, the manual does not say to use anything more then 5W20 in a Hemi. Charmin Toilet Paper says you can only use a few peices of paper to clean your ****. I always use more

They don't pay for your lost time and cost of another vehicle to drive. If you like having a broke down truck. Sure.

sos put it to ya this way, I'm 7k into my oil and have 13k more to go.
