Has anyone here used the bed rug instead of a bed liner and if so did you like it and how well did it hold up. I'm thinking seriously about getting one to put in the truck since I now have a bed cover and I really don't use the truck for hauling.

 

Installed the Dodge bed and tailgate rug last year...works great...

 

My truck came with one. I like it, but I use my trailer to haul dirt, etc. Supposedly, they can handle that as well.

 

I've had one now in mine for a year. I don't hall alot of stuff. Few hundred pounds of 50lb bags of deer corn once a month, bags of fertilizer,some snow fence, the dog, snowmobile and ATV gear. Halled some new furniture and a 42" plasma TVto my place in northern WI the bed rug protected it from scrathes. In all it's holding up good could use a good vaccuming but other than that I love it.

 

I ordered one & put it in my truck when it was about a month old, that was in July of '04. I've hauled river rock and loose sand and spilled gas in it and with just a wash with a pressure washer about twice a year, it almost looks like it did when I got it.
As someone whose had knee surgery (twice) I can also appreciate the padding it offers.

I would never have believed it could stand up to the elements and all I've had in it over the last four years and would not hesitate to put one in my next truck...

Thanks for all the replies. I just ordered mine from the dealership. I got a quote from 2 other places and the dealership seems to be in line here and plus it has the Ram logo. Should be in by Wednesday. Thanks Again.
