After reading up on Corsa, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO getting this Exhaust system, it's like $750 with free shipping, but is so worth it!!!! Corsa Exhaust system - http://www.corsaperf.com/dodge_ram.htm

I am also going to purchase the RamHammer CAI.

Why settle for less right??

Thanks for all the input.

I'm not a expert, but I will offer some advice on what to do, and what not to do.

My truck is 5.7 hemi 2500, 2006 model.

I had the y pipe removed, and a dynomax ultra flow, 2 in lest two out lests installed, I hate the mufler, not my best chioce in muflers..

But, taking out the y pipe and resonater ( 2500 rams don't have a resonater ) will promote a better flowing EX, AS for muflers, aviod any brand that has two inlets and two outlets, I have observed that on the dyno max the in lets and out lets are two close togethier, and I blow out the packing and seams on the mufler.

I'm going to go with two muflers, have not decided on the brand...

Keeping the Y pipe and runing a singel in, two out let ex and removing the resonater may be the best bang for the buck, but if you go with a true dual set up, your gonna have to run two muflers.

AS for A CAI, I'm going to put in A voalant, its a bigger air box that replaces the stock air box and you don't have to play with plastic heat shields and you keep the plasic stock cover over the TBI, The intake hose into the TBI replaces the stock unit.

The stock air box on the hemi is really pretty good, don't know for sure if replaqcing it is really going to improve things, but any kit that comes with plastic heat shields instead of a sealed unit it is no better than the stock intake...

^^^The problem with the Volant intake is it leaves in the "hemi hat" silencer...which is the most restrictive part and what you want toreplace. As much as they charge you'd think they'd extend the tube a little.

To the original poster, check Ebay they have some good deals for 1/4 the price. I saw a few True-flow intakes on there for $240 this morning...pricey but it looks good and gets that restrictive crap outta there.

Look at Summit racing. They have a Airaid Jr. that has just the non restrictive tube and K&N style drop in filter for the stock air box. It's only around $160 and eliminates the restrictive silencer box.

OooOo they also have the sameAirraid tube and hardware without the filter for only $110...i'm going to go that route and buy an Amsoil synthetic filter. Part number is Airaid 300-924-1 and link is http://store.summitracing.com/partde...=AID-300-924-1in case anyone wants to know.
