Hey guys,
Well...im really starting to kick myself for buying this truck. Here is the problem. I try to start my truck and when i turn the key, nothin happens, no clicking or anything just dead. The gauges dont move at all either when i turn the key to the on position. Radio, Lights and the clock work fine, so my battery is good. Any ideas to the cause? any possibly how to fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have your starter checked, although I would think the guages would still work. Even the battery guage doesn't work?

How do you know your battery is good without testing it. That's where I would start.

have you tried to use the other key? Maybe your key has lost the code, or if the other key dosn't work eather, the sentry system may be messed up. It's just a guess. Yeah and it sounds to me like your battery is fine, if the lights work and the radio comes on and has the right time on it. In the past, when i've had had a dead battery, the lights, radio, power door locks, don't work, and when i attempted to start, it would click.

i'd be willing to bet that its the ignition fuse cause i done the same thing somehow when i was messing with my radio i belive its like a 2 amp fuse. you should also look and youll prob see a lightning bolt on your dash lit up.

Just because the lights and radio work doesn't mean the battery is good....have it load tested.

Heres what i would do, Because this happen to me on an LX car. The SKEEM module lost the key code and the driver try start and let car run 3times and stalled 3 times and lock the ignition system out. no clicking and no cluster/ dash gauges. What idid was hooked up a battery charger for one hour with drivers door open and the key on. clear all codes and program the keys. it stsrt and ran. What you maywant to do is hook up scanner and ck for codes.
