just picked up on 02, advice needed
i just picked up an 02 ram 1500 crew cab 4x4 last night for 6,000. the thing has 138,000 miles on it which i know is high, but i'm not worried as i knew the owner beforehand.
i'm flushing out all the fluids tonight, engine, tranny, diff to synthetics. doing a cooling system flush and thermostat tomorrow and flushing the brake fluid as i have plenty of super blue racing racing fluid from my race prep bmw 540.
my question is what else should i look into cleaning or checking before i head on a road trip from michigan to north carolina to make sure everything is up to par?
Pictures as requested:

and the dodge...

nice deal have any pictures of the truck, my 02 has about 129,000 have had no problems with it i would check the belt for cracks or anything you could even change the differential fluid if you want
thanks, all oils are being changed tonight.
i've already repaired the rear door wiring harnesses and put dynamat covering all 4 of the interior door skins to help reduce road noise since i had 2 spare trunk kits left over from another project.
my to-do list in carolina is as follows:
smoked headlights
blacking out the 4 grill panels
fiberglass sub boxes for under the rear seats with an amp rack
shampooing the whole interior
buffing the truck to remove scratches.
next month it gets an intake and possibly a power programmer.

if its a 4.7, apparently theres this little problem ive researched about, that im currently going through and that the oil pressure to to massive amounts of sludge...may want to look into that. hopefully it wont be a problem with you, but ive read a numerous amount of cases where its all in the 02 4.7 a thorough engine cleaning with seafoam may be wanted
it is a 4.7. i'll post some pictures of it tonight. i've already got a bottle of seafoam as i run that through every car i purchase and a real good fuel system cleaner. i didn't get a chance to do the oils last ngiht, so i'm going to snap some pictures today while i'm waiting on the to drain out. i'm ordering the airraid jr kit and leaving the stock box for now and i can weld up my own cold air intake as i've got pipe benders and mig and tig welders when i get to my garage in carolina.
i just got the spec list on the truck and it is the sport package with LSD in the rear, 3.55 gearing. i also found a good deal on a set of 20's that will be thrown on there for the trip.
