I think those would be the best 3: I did Magnaflow cat-backSI/DO exhaust, about to install my Airaid Modular Intake Tube, and will eventually get a Flashpaq tuner.

tuner, exhaust, and CAI are the 3 most common mods on these boards to do for the least amount of money. Run a search on the forums for all 3 and you will come up with a lot of info.

Well I can tell you my 05' runs great and sounds great with my borla cat-back, AFE High breather Intake, and SC Flash pack. Got quite noticable gains from that combo in both hp and mileage. Right now Im looking at the borla headers, and 4.56 gears to complete the setup.

^^^^get a CAI. doesnt have to be anything crazy expensive. magnaflow exhaust seems to give a nice tone, not loud, but a good tone and has very good flow. superchips is the winner for the tuner. and as draco said, royal purple for the engine and differential gave me about a 2 mpg gain

I questioned the dealership about a tuner. They said any chip would void the warranty????

Yes if you get caught with atune it'll void the warranty...so restore the stock tune before bringing it to the dealer.

I know this is probably BS from the dealer, but they said the '08s have a computer that will track any changes made by tuners even if you restore to factory settings. Anybody know if there is any truth to it??

Probably BS...i've heard on here that traces from the old tune can be found but I don't believe it. Even if it's true...you think the lazy *** dealers are going to look that far into it?

its not the dealer that you have to worry about. Its the warrenty manager. My father in-law does this for a living. He tells me that what he does is he has to make sure that the person didnt do anything to cause a problem to thetruck/car etc etc.that would void the warrenty. Not the most liked guy by people with car issues. But if you didnt do anything that would void the warrenty thenyourgolden.
