Here's the background info.My dad just got a Daytona Dodge Charger. He asked the dealership if the Charger had daytime running lights. The dealership said that in Canada, daytime running lights are required and your vehicle may already have the module for the daytime running lights. If he did, they could just turn on the module with a computer. It turns out my dad's car did have the module.He did a google search and found out hisCharger had it.They turned it on and it works just fine.

The question: Does anyone know if a 2007 dodge ram 1500 V6 2wd have that module already? I did an internet search but didn't find an answer. Hope someone knows! Thanks

 

A dealer should be able to "enable daytime running lights" with the STAR scan.

 

^^^Yea what he said...all the dodge DRL's do is light up your headlights but a bit dimmer. Some other makes have seperate bulbs..

The dealer can also make your headlights turn on whenever you use your wipers.

 

Those damn things are very annoying to use poor fellas with glare sensitive eyes. They should be banned[:@]
