This has nothing to do with Rams but thought you guys would get a kick out of it anyway. The ONLY Dodge dealer here in town got it's first 09 Challenger#156 in the other day....The sticker price was 41k and change, and then they(dealer) put there price on it.......They wrote "fair market value $79,995", are they fing nuts or what? Don't get me wrong it was nice and all but not for 80K.

 

Well it sounds like they are going to be in high demand, so yeah they might actually get that for it. They are free to charge whatever they want.

 

They may get some wizard to pay that. Who knows? (I wouldn't).

 

The one one my dealers lot had the owners name on it....wonder if he paid sticker for it. It was 425x something...looked awesome.

 

Somebody with more money than brains will pay that much over sticker to be the first kid on the block with one. Just remember "there's an a$$ for every seat"...

 

He'll get it for that price. When I bought the Ram and Charger the dealer told me they had 3 on order that went for more than what the sticker would be. He said that people want to have the first ones out. The lower the number in the series the better. Here in my county the dealer told me they sold theirs for about 70,000.00. The car came in the other day and was set on the lot for a week for show.

 

Does'nt suprise me I mean some people have more money then brains.

We have one on the showroom and yes it is marked up but not to $80,000. Ours is $15,000 over sticker. Same thing happed when the PT cruiser first came out. Wait a few months and the price will get back to normal. I don't care what number it is, I just can't see paying over sticker or even sticker for any car. It is a good looking car, but if I was gonna spend 80K, it would be a Viper....
