If you looked at this and it didn't make sense earlier, read again. Because I forgot the beginning part of the story.

that's some bull![sm=smiley35.gif] if it was a emissions or safety critical part, then i'd understand. but wont replace an a/c actuator because you removed the dash?! a-holes.

can you do the actuator yourself?

well you could always try putting the dash back in, taking it to another stealership, and telling them the same story but that you got it replaced or am I mistaken in thinking that this is a warranty issue?

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. You're one of many people who have purchased a Dodge truck because you thought you were buying a quality product. Such is not the case, at all. Once you part with your check, and drive off the lot, then you're on your own. You have some poster on here who will say, it is your responsibility. I AM NOT ONE OF THEM. Post your problem at Carcomlaints.com
Dodge is putting out a inferior product....and doesn't stand behind their products.

thats some fcukin bullsh!t. i would call around to some other dealerships and see what they say. i really cant believe they said they wont do it.

actually, just for kicks, im going to call my dealer later and see what they say. if they say they would do it, then i know you can find another dealer to do it.

just got off the phone with them and the guy was a little sceptical about a missing dash but he was like as long as you have been living without the dash before hand they would take care of it. he even joked around about it saving me money since they would not have to remove the dash, but it would cost me a little more to buy a new dash. i just laughed

Personally, I'd have taken the honest approach and called the dealer and explained that I didn't have the extra cash to spend on the hours it would take them to remove and replace the dash and that I believed I was capable of doing it, but not the acuator replacement and gone from there...

They straight up said that they will not work on anything that has been started by a customer. But it's still a little ridiculous that even if maybe someone had actually vandalized my truck, and if I had no dash, that they wouldn't fix my actuator.
